Has anyone heard of a metal building frame fab shop being "AC-472" certified.
That's a new one to me.
Any info appreciated.

Tim,
  It is IAS accreditation.

You should be able to find all the info you need here.

If you can't pass muster with one certification agency, there one somewhere that will certify you for something.

Hell, for the right price I'll write up a certification for you; "He's a sharp dresser and spiffy dancer". That should get you where you want to go. ;)

Best regards - Al

Al,

Where do I get that SDSD certification? While I am at it, where do I get a OBS cert, and FCCWI cert?

Regards,
Gerald

Hey Al,

Is this SDSD cert some more of that "diversifying" that you spoke about in the Happy New Year thread?
<do you accept paypal?>

Thanks for sharing the info. That's exactly what I was looking for.
Do you have any expierience with this outfit?

Al

I hear ya buddy. Another way of making a buck.
How much for the "snappy dresser - good dancer" cert. Keep in mind I'll be unavaible for the audit but expect to pass anyhow...  :)

Tim,
I do have experience with IAS. The last shop I was in is IAS AC172 accredited. AC172 and AC472 are not much different. AC472 is slightly more stringent but not much when it boils down.

If you have any specific questions I would be glad to help where I can.

LOL, "sharp dresser and spiffy dancer" cert. Is there a prep course for that? I am lacking on the "spiffy dancer" side of that.

Amen John,  My wife would love it if Al would give us a practice week and then an exam for that cert.  LOL!!!

Have a Great Day,  Brent

I can see it now, a class of 40 two legged cows trying to keep in step with a tune and me tapping the cane on the floor; and a one and a two, turn. We would need steel-toed boot to keep from squashing each other's feet. Forget about trying to get some young ladies to join in. We would be lucky to get a few old ladies on pensions to try to help us out.

Brent, your wife has already called to see if she could enroll you for your birthday present, but she did not sound like she had much faith the money would be well spent.
Gentlemen, there is always hope, no matter how fleeting. ;)

Best regards - Al

You don't know how true that really is.  But thanks for taking it under consideration.  LOL.

You Have a Very Great Day Al,  Brent
