I know a lot of you guys have the 6.7 Cummings. I was wondering what kind of fuel mileage you get with your beds on it. Thanks.

I got an 07 with the 6.7 and Im getting around 17 riged out and I was getting about 19 not riged out. I think it has alot to do with how you takeoff and also how  fast you drive

I have an 08 6.7 and the best milage I have got with mine is 19 according to the overhead but that was just one time. I average around 14-16 hand caculated. I have heard some people that have had problems with there 6.7 but mine has been flawless, I love it!!

brian I’ll bet the only issues you’ve heard of were smog related. People who have got rid of the DPF, EGR, and CAT, then added a tuner to remove the codes have no problems, and some are reporting up to 25 MPG!
I have a 2007 6.7L (built February 2007) cab and chassis, only issue I’ve had it wouldn’t down shift into passing gear, trip back to the dealer, 2-minutes for a new flash, perfect!

i have the dpf delete and egr block off and the edge juice with the attitude controller on my mega cab long bed dually 4x4 and 16mpg running down the interstate is the best ive got. but its better than the 11mpg i got before the upgrades. im convinced the motor is great but the fuel you buy these days is killing the mileage. dont get caught running the dpf delete. the fine is as bad or worse than running red fuel

How much extra horsepower are you getting? I’ am interested in the Black Maxx by H&S Performance, but may wait until the Mini Maxx comes out later. I’m going to buy the turbo back 5-inch exhaust, and do all the deletes. I only get just over 15 empty, hand calculated, but have less than 10,000 miles on the clock.

i honestly dont know. i think setting 1 is 40 horse and setting 5 is 100 horse. make sure you get your dpf delete from h&s and not frome a reseller. bought mine off a web site and it came with stuff h&s doesnt sell with thier kit. it was a joke and came iwthout instructions. my truck ran like crap till i finally called h&s and got it figured out

Ever hear of these guys? James who I think owns Rollin Smoke Diesel is very helpful on a few of the diesel sites. I bought an S&B air intake from him for a friend’s 2000 5.9L. His service was top shelf!

yeah that is where i bought my dpf delete. DO NOT buy a kit from them.

WOW! I’ am shocked, you must have had problems with their shim kit? What could go wrong with the exhaust pipe? Thank you for the heads up! I was just going to make one phone call and buy everything at one place. But I can just as easily make the same call to H&S, the prices are basically the same.

no yhe problem was with the crap they added to the h&s kit. it was a joke and it showed up without instructions. their egr block off was a joke too! i couldve made it better than them. and it showed up without instructions too. i just thought it was a joke. anyone can sell you an airfilter and seem like they know what they are talking about. maybe my experience was an exception but i wont buy from them again

had mine since they came out get about 15 rigged out.  Only problems where dpf at first.  Now I am stright piped (except muffle) and run piros from H&S to bluff the computer. Never any problems since I put this system on over a year ago.

I had to go to the dealer and have my turbo cleaned one time and after that I had no more problems before I put the 5' tbe on it and the cai and tunner I just unplugged the egr and it started running a little better but now I dont have to worry about letting it idel for a long time if I want to and that is what I like about it. but yea I heard that alot of people were have a big problem with there 07.5's to and I guess I got a good one because when it was still stock I had very few problems
