the gas companies took all the sulfar out of the fuel and its burning everybodies pumps out becuase theres nothing in the fuel to lubricate them . I add 2 stroke oil to my fuel when i fill up and had good luck with my truck .

If your running K-N air filter your cummins motor has so much air flow it will pull holes thru filter and then you sucking straight dirt. If you over oil filter then it will cake up with dirt and eat it up. K-N not good for cummins. If you go to mopar1973man.com and look up BHAF air filter that is the way to go it will lower your egt also.

Do not put old ATF in your fuel tank itll destroy the newer diesels that we all drive.

JL where have you been getting you IP.  I hope that it came with a warranty.  I use MidWestFuelInjection.com  These guys are awesome and will take the time to answer all of your questions.

Yea its under warranty but I have to pull it off and send in and it might take 5-10 days to get it back. And it not throwing a code yet so I was told they may just send it back and if it keeps doing it, then what? thats where I am at for now. Good to hear good info on rebuilt pumps. Mine is from industrial injection. I dont under stand it I been running 2 stroke oil for 2 years now, but I guess it is in elec. As far as the new trucks 2007 and lower you can run 2 stroke it will screw up newer trucks.
Back to pump, it died a bout ten times in 20 mile, it wont die completely keeps running a little then back to normal. I have replaced everything under the hood I mean everything. I should have p pumped it when It first happen. Cost about 3500.00 to p pump.

What year truck do you have?  I think it is 2000 and up you can turn the ignition on and off three times and it will sometimes show any codes for the pcm and ecm.  What is your fuel pressure?  If it is more than 20 over time it will wear out the internal diaphram and cause the pump to start going out.  I didnt know that you could p pump a 24V that cheap.  I know you have to change out the ecm and I think the injectors as well.  Plus I think ou need something like 45 psi of fuel pressure to make it run correctly.

It has 15 lbs at idle and 13.50 at wot. as far as p pump that is the price I got from shop in my area. So I guess it just a ball park. but at 4 pumps man I am willing to try anything at this point. I got a lot invested in it so it is hard to bail on it now.
I am thinking on a new wire harness.I sent Edge Ez back and they said I had croision on board and they sent new edge to replace it with. I ran it for about a week with out a controler on it and it still die on me twice. Cleaned all conections and grounds.
