Of course it's not real Mike!!! Didn't you read the very first few lines??? Quote: "A very big Thanks to Michigan member Mike Partridge who sent in this bit of humor, which was forwarded by a senior level (Notice that a name isn't mentioned of this senior level Chrysler person?) person at Chrysler." In other words, the entire article is nothing more than an insider joke from someone at Chrysler, and not David E, Cole who is the Chairman of CAR (Center for Automotive Research) and Professor at the University of Michigan. ;)

I also think it's very interesting how it's so easy to think of this article to be seen as being genuine when there is no author, or news agency written to be shown as the source of the supposed article, and I would have thought that alone would raise a "Red Flag" to the authenticity of this very humorous fictional article!!! :) :) :)
Some Joke - eh???;)

Respectfully,
Henry

Try "right click...save picture as". :-)

OK, I did that. It is saved someplace, I don't know where or what to do with it next.
Parent - - By ssbn727 (*****) Date 02-25-2010 03:14
When I forgot where I saved the pic (Quite common when we get to our age! ;) ) what I do is to save it again and the location in the dialog box will be up towards the top of the box like: "Desktop, My Documents, My pictures, etc." but if you don't understand where I'm talking about, just click save again, and then a another very rectangular box will open up informing you that you have already saved the picture at such and such location... So what I do then, is write down the location so that when I go looking for it later. I'll have no trouble finding it since i have written record of it...  Hope this helps Dave! ;)

Like I mentioned before to Mike in a previous post here:

Some things humorous are true. If I had a transcript of the actual conversation mentioned in the Snopes article, I would send it on. Seems Congress did think it could change the laws of physics, just not the people mentioned in Your article.

Hi Dave!

Oh it's not my article per say... It's just a funny joke I found in one of many e-mail messages I receive from some of my friends from all over the country, and it looked like it could pass as an authentic article except for the obvious fact that at least two important attributes were missing, and they were the absence of both author as well as the name of the news source...

So I thought it would be a fun thing to do by posting it up to see how many folks would recognize the obviously missing attributes which would at the very least validate that it was indeed an authentic, genuine news article regardless of the authenticity of the actual content written. ;)
I had fun with it!!! ;)

Respectfully,
Henry
