Can anyone suggest some training needed to get hired by a nuclear plant as a mechanic?  I've worked in nukes as a welder during outages in the past.  Any suggestions on sepcific training needed to become an employee at one of these plants would be appreciated.  Thanks

hi! i'm a student! but i attended a course for N.C.C.E.R. wich was a 3 week course for a national construction certificate. the class involved all trades and recieved a 10 hour osha card,blue print, construction math, green construction and communication skills. the class was sponsored by shaw group! this company is in the energy constrution! they require all applicants to have this class! you can find more info at the website(www.nccer.org)
