Development of a chromium-free consumable for joining stainless steel

Here's the link to this dissertation in .pdf format:

http://search.ohiolink.edu/etd/send-pdf.cgi/Sowards%20Jeffrey%20William.pdf?osu1237845645

This one is from a different perspective: "Chromium-free consumable for welding stainless steel: corrosion perspective."

http://search.ohiolink.edu/etd/send-pdf.cgi/Kim%20Yeong%20Ho.pdf?osu1133285376

Any thoughts?

Respectfully,
Henry

how did you happen to stumble across all the thesis and dissertation papers for the welding engineering candidates?  a lot of novel research among these.

That's cool.  I went to school with Jeff.  OhioLink is an interlibrary loan program for colleges in Ohio.  It looks like Jeff went for his PhD in '09 (sounds about right, he was a MS student when I was there) and dissertations get sent to the library, so it's now on OhioLink.
