I may be able to get my hands on one here pretty soon.  It doesn't have a handle will a dewalt grinder handle work.  If not does anybody know what type of threads it is tapped for.

Do you mean a Black and Decker WILDCAT ? Any local welding supply can get you a handle. I have made them from a Broomstick and a Bolt. I forgot what size Bolt it is. I think it is 5/8 (without going to check

Hi Jeremy!

I would also check any pawn shops around your area to see if they have any of those they might be wanting to get rid of for cheap, and this way you'll have spare parts for anything else - CAPECHE???

Respectfully,
Henry

That is where I have been looking but no luck yet.  The ones around me hardly have any real good tools for our line of work.  Every blue moon some good stuff shows up.

Keep an eye on Craigslist. I've purchased a few of them off there for as little as 20 bucks. If you are using it for pipelining you wont need the handle.

I've tried that but whatever i try searching under hardly anything comes up.

I search Craigs List under "tools" and have seen some in the Philly area. A friend of ine just got one at a flea market tonight.

I checked  Mine today. They are 3/8-16 from the factory, some of Mine have been re-tapped 7/16-14.

i think the threads are either 5/16 or 3/8 save your time and trouble and just find a long bolt to fi in it i've done that too if you dont like just the bolt put flat washers on each side of a piece of 3/4 pipe and use that

I have some left over grinder handles from grinders that i no longer have.  I will try them out after I receive the grinder.
