Anyone ever use Fluxcore Self Sheilding Hard facing ? I am needing one with EXTREME Abrasion Resistance if anyone has some Ideas

Yup.............Stoody 600.  It's not a fun wire to run; but does the trick.  Any impact requirements or just abrasion?  I have used this frequently on crusher rolls; some misc. hardfacing; I'd rather use stick but some apps just don't lend themselves to it.

Cactus,
Lincore 55. We used it in the mine for overlay. Use whatever you wish (NR 211) to build up to profile. Then go for Lincore 55 to cover it up, final layer only.
Do NOT worry about surface cracks! This is normal. If you have to remove  the overlay, save yourself time and money and Air Arc it off.
Grinding this stuff is futile!

Lincore 60-0, or if some impact, Lincore 50.  Btw, Lincore 55 is for metal to metal

Depending on your time/place constraints; Lincoln wire is pretty readily available too; maybe a consideration.  That Stoody and the Lincore 60-0 are comparable.

Cor-Met has a pretty good selection of Fe-C filler alloys. If temps are high they have some good Co alloys as well.
They were our first choice for extrusion dies.
