I'm looking to replace all the tables in my weld dept.  Does anyone have any recomendation or a link for those nice fixture tables that almost resemble a machinist table?  I know they are expensive, but I believe they can save us some money due to the amount of fixtures our company has to fabricate for production.  I'm going to get some intel on them in Atlanta at the show as well, but I wanna start doing my homework. ;-) Thanks for the help ahead of time!!!

The tables from Bluco are the ones that I'm thinking about.  Do you know of anymore tables like those?

Have you looked at the buildpro tables made by stronghand? They are a whole lot cheaper $$ wise than the bluco tables. Don't know about quality though.

Kix

The Cast Iron Weldsale plates are cheaper than Acorn plates.

Ordinary steel plate is still the cheapest, and you can put welds on it.  You cannot weld to the cast Iron Plates.

What would a table like that cost?

HI RAY!!!

Last place I worked we had several tables strategically pattern drilled and tapped.  We used machinist step blocks and dogs to fixture a lot of the heavier stuff and it worked very well.  Not familiar with the tables your looking for tho.

Depends, but Bluco tables run anywhere from 16k to 50K per table.  Expensive huh??
