I have a cylinder shape SS tube that has a lip on it.  It slides into a sleeve.  On the cylinder there is a shelf for the torch to melt and fuse the two together.  The material itself is the filler metal.  I have searched for the name of this type of welding to no success.  Who's got the answer??
