Hi All, i'm looking to buy a pipe positioner for our shop.
I was looking at the pipe bully's that are for sale in the U.S.
I've only seen them in pics.
Has anybody used them and are they worth the money.
Around $7,000.00 plus the cost of shipping to canada.
If they are no good, has anybody got other ideas for a pipe positioner that you would recommend.
I would also buy a used one, if it were in good condition.

I have a couple Ransome positioners in my shop. Thsy are not cheap, but I have never had any problems.Look them up online.

Team industries builds a very nice unit but they too are expensive they are designed and built by pipefitters, what a great unit they run on 110 and have a header for air tools and a step out fan is mounted on them also.

Check out Weld Plus in Cincinnati, Ohio. They typically have a number of used units on the floor.

Tks, but this is the same company who sells those units too.
I may my purchase today from them. I bought the 1504 unit (1500lbs) one complete with the MT16B chuck.
I think they are both good units, at least time will tell.
