Al,
Which edition?
What article?
Parent - - By 803056 (*****) Date 08-09-2010 19:30 Edited 08-12-2010 01:02
It wasn't that important John. I was just trying to provide someone with a link and discovered the B.S. required to access it. Needless to say, I didn't give them the link. I told them to forget it and redirected them elsewhere. Another lost opportunity for AWS.

Best regards - Al

Actually it was the first article they were interested in. They read the second article, but not the first one.

Thanks John.

Here is the first one.....

BTW, Ross if you're reading this...the link is broken in the April/2010 of IT online....it needs to have "itrends" added into the link to be functional.

anyone know how to get the issues owed to you? i have been screwed out of 2 issues now in the last 3 years, including the latest one!
they don't even answer my emails!

Call up Miami, and ask for them... They have always taken good care of my missing issues due to change in address for me. ;)
Just remember the golden rule: "You act nice towards a stranger and chances are the stranger will become your friend! ;)"

Respectfully,
Henry

You know what I do about the cards, I ask for one everytime I end up with the shopping on my list, when done I kindly ask them if they have a trash can for it!!!!
I do the same with all them credit card offers that come with self stamped envelopes, I fill them with all my junk mail and send them back, at thier expense!!!

Don't you hate it when you are signed in, you go to a different area, it says you must be logged in, you click to log in, and it says you are already logged in but it doesn't open up for you it just does the circle jerk
Al I know where you are coming from.

Another useless site because it isn't easily accessed. Stop wasting our membership fee on a site that can't be accessed because of more "registration" nonsense. This site, like many others are simply bypassed by me and countless others. Call them lost opportunities.

Just my opinion on the subject.

AWS Miami HQ is run like the Federal Government.  I have NEVER had an email or phone call returned.  Nobody answers the phone during working hours and it always goes to voice mail.  Summer hours are all year long in Miami.  They had the info on my CWI card and certificate totally messed up.  The #, name spelled wrong, dates etc.  It took me months to get a replacement.  The first one they sent me?  Corrected with ink pen and laminated over on the CWI card!  I'm not kidding you.  Three times mailing it back to get it done right.  Piss poor!

Just imagine if you had to deal with me on a daily basis. Miami is manned by intellects in comparison. It is a good thing my wife keeps track of where I am supposed to be day to day.

Best regards - Al
