Use of Code Cases usually requires approval from the design engineer or owner, since they are alternative requirements.  If your design engineer or owner approves use of the Case, I see no reason you can't use a Code Case that was issued after the specified edition and addenda, provided there are no words in the Case stating it only applies to a specific edition/addenda.
