A mud board is what you want.

built mine outta 1" x 4" lumber then used 2" x 4" lumber to connect it a together "run the 1x4 say north and south with little spaces between them - run the 2x4 east and west at the top put two 2x4 close together about 1 3/4" space between them. then place two more 2x4 spaced out evenly the remaining length of the 1x4 boards  FYI: use a short piece of 2 x 12 lumber cut to the width of the mud board. stand it on edge it kinda becomes adjustable not just your head but your whole body" (lot more comfortable)
