Dear Friends
Applicable Code
PQR qualified with E7016 and Impact Tested to -40 deg celicius. Can i use this PQR to Single Bevel / Single V FP Welds using E7018 (as both belongs to same classification-AWS 5.1 as Well )?
Appreciate any help. Thanks

When testing for CVN, electrode classification (E7016 vs E7018) is an essential variable. If the procedure is qualified using E7016, is no longer qualified if the electrode classification is changed to E7018.
