You'll want to read "B-2" on page 14 titled "Welding Operation" in order to find the specific answer to your query, and yet I also recommend that you read the entire manual including the front page which lists the serial number to which this specific "Operator's Manual" is referring to...
If the serial numbers shown in the 1st manual do not correspond with the serial number of your machine, or the same brand engine (Example: Kubota, Perkins) and if it has a wire feed option or not, then go to the second link I posted below to find the corresponding .pdf document which best matches the description of your machine.
