HOW CAN CA-360 BRASS BE TIG WELDED TO 300 SERIES STAINLESS STEEL?

I'm no expert but I would think.. Braze,braze,braze. 56% silver content. if it gets really hot in use then....????????

I have tig welded stainless nuts to brass with a rod that is commonly known as everdo. I don't know what the composition of the rod is, But it seems to be mostly brass. Maybe someone else can chime in with some more info, Or you can call your local weld supply for info.

Step 1 :
Butter layer on stainless steel : Nickel (ER Ni-1)

Step 2 :
another butter layer on previous : Monel type (ER NiCu-7)

Step 3 :
another 2 butter layers Cu70-Ni30 on previous

Step 4 :
the joint can now be made using ER CuAl

hmmmm.. does the stainless ever actually reach melting point here?
