OOoohKAaay! And your point is?

Lighten up Ron. If you are asking if the silver soldering process will harm the heat treatment of the 17-4 ph stainless steel, the answer is probably not, Soldering by definition is 840 degree F or less. I do not know the lower transformation temperature of 17-4 ph or the melting temperature of silver solder but in all likelyhood you shouldn't have a problem.
If it is a critical application, make up a test joint and have a lab test performed.

I am sorry! I did'nt meant to come across heavy handed. I miss read the question. In fact I quess the window was not open all the way or something but I swear I did not see the "Can you" But then it was quitting time on Friday of a 4 day week end.

Im' not sure of the transformation temperature of the stainless but silver solder typically is heated to 1100 degrees F. Yes, that is over the 850 for a solder process, but, thats the truth!
