Convertions, from a fraction to a decimole I still have trouble remembering conversions, is there any one out there that can help me better understand?

easy stuff....just divide the top number of the fraction by the bottom number...wahlah, the fraction turns into a decimal.

Use a calaculator, enter the top number, hit divide, enter the bottom number, hit equal...and that is your fraction turned into a decimal.

1/2 = .5
3/4 = .75
3/8 = .375
3/16 = .1875

Hello jkollmar0879, I have a hand-out that I use in my fabrication class that might help you out with that. I'll see about including it here. Best regards, Allan
