Dear Experts
Appreciate if someone send me the detail asap.
I've search internet and nothing found.
As it presently not available i need to find the compatible electrode.
Client want to see the above electordes data sheet before allowing it to be used.
I want to use Metrode-E8018C1. for welding ASTM A 333-Low Temp Pipes.
Thanks

E means Electrode.
Metrode is the brand.
80 means that the welded metal has a minimum tensile strength of 80,000 psi.
1 means that the electrode can be used in all positions.
8 means:
a) the coating is a low hydrogen one
b) it contains 25 to 40 % of iron powder, so it's a fast filling electrode
c) it's suitable for DC, eletrode positive (reverse polarity) and AC
C1 means that the finished weld contains also 2,5 % nickel.

Nalla,
You need to try a bit harder before asking for assistance.
Type Metrode into Google.
Go to Metrode website.
Type E8018-C1 into Product Search
Click on Data Sheet and hey presto !
One Data Sheet after 2 minutes of searching.
Regards,
Shane

Hi Shane!

I've been trying to teach this to many folks who come here for years, and some have learned, yet still many simply don't understand how simple it is to do...
Oh well, sometimes you just can't fix XXXXXX! ;) Thanks for trying though. ;)

Respectfully,
Henry
