I have an old one that when its on you have to get a pry bar to get it off... I love it...!!!  I went to buy a new one and the new ones wont hold up dental floss....

The company that made my old one is no more....

I now have a Tweco ground clamp on my other welder.

Go to the welder exchange section someone there was bragging on them.  Like others said they are expensive and most places don't carry or service them at all but suppose they could have their place if you want to spend $$$.

I have some magnets that came out of a junked MRI machine.  These things are ridiculously strong.   they will smash your hand if you get them between the metal and the mag.

I just use em bare and hook my ground clamp right to them.
