The 170 series is a great multimeter
I have the 77IV. it does everything I need and then some.

I use Fluke 87s that came from pawn shops, they were a really good meter in their day. Keep an eye out for one.

If you are going to use your Fluke Meter in welding and welder calibration, I recommend the Fluke model 336 or 337 clamp meter.
