Uhhhhhhh, note 'e' for figures 3.3 and 4 appears to be randomly applied to either SMAW or GMAW/FCAW. Sometimes you will see it only in the SMAW joints, sometimes only in the GMAW/FCAW joints. Other than to make me feel stupid, is there any AWS logic behind this? The note: "SMAW detailed joints may be used for pre-qualifed GMAW(...)and FCAW."
