2008 300D What would cause the machine to not idle up with grinders. The grinder will work if machine is left on high idle and it idles up when you strike an arc.

Could be low RPMS. or a broken sensing wire to the the 110 plugs. Whats your OCV in low idle? Or a bad sensing donut, dirty brushes. Lots of possiblilites.

I would go with faulty connection, blown fuse or faulty sensing donut (S18250-397)

Is there a way to check sensing donut how do you know if it is bad? to check ocv do you put everything to max high idle and multi-meter on vdc?

Usually there is visable damage to the wires wrapped thru the 'donut'
