Many gun dealers carry 50 cal. Usually single shot. That's all you need... one shot-one kill. Especially with a 50 cal.
You can even get a fully auto if you live in the right state, file all the paperwork, clear the background check, and want to pay all the added 'BATFE' taxes for it.
You won't get one for 2000 though.

I found a armorlite for 2600. I don't mind spending over 2 grand ither. Cactus I'm just trying to find one to start with. Is that guy there in Tyler pretty good price? Here In Louisiana. For the single shot botl action lafayette shooters wanted 3300 no scope. And cabeles in Gonzales Louisiana wanted 5500 with scope. I wouldn't even mind a used one for the right price. One more question. How loud are these guns. Cause if it as big as a 50 cal, it better roar when the trigger gets pulled.

if you really want to shoot far buy a 375 cheytac. ballistics blow the 50 bmg out of the water. accurate to 2800 yards. guy in manning iowa builds good ones. r w snyder gunsmithing is his business name. $4500 gets you in to a sweet rifle. if you want to shoot further go with a 375 snipetac. viersco mfg in north east nebraska builds those. you couldnt go wrong with either of those rounds but you better have reloading equipment. last but not least you could go with a barrett model 99 in a 416 barret. $3500 gets you into a barrett single shot. all 3 rounds ive told you about totally smoke the bmg
Zastava is building a bolt .50 cal not sure on the price but it looks to be a nice rifle. I'm sure it would be more reasonable than a Barrett. It is being imported by EAA.
