Hi!

According to table 341.3.2, note 5, surface porosity is only evaluated for welds equal or less than 5mm nominal thickness. Where, then are limits for welds greater than 5mm (3/16)? or are there none?

Must be a limit on surface breaking pores/porosity for weld greater than 5mm (3/16) in thickness?

edit:This is not high pressure pipe work.

There is no acceptance criteria for wall thicknesses greater than 3/16" (5 mm)
