I have 98 Lincoln classic 3 with no weld output or auxiliary power. Welded with it yesterday and today it won't arc period, even at high idle. Tried different leads and "flashing" the fields, thinking I did that right. Only thing I changed between today and yesterday was battery swap thanks in advance for antly help!

Check connections to generator and under the hood on the board and the ground connection behind board.

Thanks for the help, if it ever stops raining I'll have to try cleaning the armature. Tried the other stuff, just wondered of there were any "common" problems.

Just make sure they didn't eat the insulation off or piss on all of it making it rust bad or will have more problems later.  Any good electric motor repair shop will have the insulation wrapping and electric insulating enamel in spray cans to do some patches with yourself.
