I am finally ready to bite the bullet on a reel for my torch hose.  I currently have 100' and I am interested in what you guys have found to be good reels as well as those to stay away from.

Thanks,
Casey

ReelCraft and TidWeld are both thought of highly.

Tidwell. It's the ONLY reel you  will ever need ! Worth every penny

I have the big Cox reel with a hand crank and spider gear.  Got it second hand, it has seen a lot of use but still works great.  It looks like it could hold 200+ft of hose with ease.

the 100ft cox reel will not hold up...the 200ft hand crank with gears will...the smaller of the two will leak Really bad!!! i sent one in twice and still leaked.

I agree with Shorthood. I had a hand crank 100' cox reel. It worked fine for about a month then it was all I could do to crank it. I now us an old lead reel that I hook & unhook with quick connects. Its not the greatest setup but, it hasn't failed me in 2 years. Which is worth a lot.
If I had the space for it, I would own a Tidweld.

Thanks.  I appreciate the input.  It looks like I will be making room for a tidweld.

the tidwell is bulletproof. just my opinion. keep it 2 or 3 years and get close to the same money as what you give for it.they hold their value!
