I have had a few friends work for them over the years not as contractors but just hands.
I heard they are cheap and would rather spend a hour a day to rig somthing up instead of just taking the time and fixing it correctly.
I had a couple of friends leave the company I worked for (DOLESE) and go to south texas and build a quarry or two and they said the exact same thing.
Where is the job and what job is it?  I think I know a few guys that still work in Snyder Oklahoma

They have several quarrys near me in Georgia. I built a conveyor for them that is going to Macon GA. I was a sub contractor on the job So I didn't work directly for them . I've talked Martin Marrietta about contracting directly to them. I've heard the same thing about rigging things up like you said, But I also heard that has changed since some of the management has retired.
