How to calculate Bevel and Included of Single V joint

Dear Friends
Pipe Single-V joint preparations
Mat 5mm thk. x 18" dia or variuos dia )
WPS call for Bevel Angle 25 ~ 30 deg with root face of 1mm.
I want to make template for fitters , so that without gauges they should be able to follow WPS.

Lay it out on a piece of sheet metal, cut it out and file to the layout. Put a line 5mm down to indicate the inner wall, and another line 4mm down to show the edge of the bevel.

Nalla,
As Dave has stated lay it out on some sheetmetal.
I would cut a straight edge with a Vee ( 5 mm high) at 55 degrees included angle (2 x 27.5 degrees) that way you can use it for prepping and also for completed set up of joint. (Just add the root gap)
Bit hard to explain without a diagram - hope you understand what I am trying to say,
