I am trying to determine if I have the necessary power requirements to pwer these welders. Any help would be appreciated.

Both require 220 volts The 180 draws 68 amps the 250 draws 96 amps without powercorrection 71 amps with powercorrection. CHUB380

I see 220v and 230v volts being applied to many machines. Will they "both" work at either voltage?

220 225 230. that's all the same.
What you have to be carful about is three phase service. It will be impossible to get 220 single phase out of a three phase service because of the phase angle of your service. You end up with 208 and you must set your taps on the machine to 200v instead of 230v. Believe me it does make a differance.

Justin,
Wouldn't you be more comfortable with the accuracy of advice directly from the manufacturer? http://www.millerwelds.com is I think the link to Miller; sometimes the exact model and serial will identify variants of the machine.

Did they not respond?

Folks that answer here are undoubtedly qualified to do so. I certainly am not disputing them, but merely think it preferable to contact the manufacturer of the equipment you are considering. They are all helpful in that regard.

Good luck
