I work at a Fabrication shop in Milwaukee. We are looking for someone to come in part time (after they are done fishing or hunting of course) and inspect weld quality on our completed projects on an as needed basis. If anyone is interested please let me know.

What code or specification allows completed weld inspection only?   Isn't before - during - and after inspection required?  Which ever CWI does this should be sure he/she is not violating the Code of Ethics.

I've performed inspection of completed weldments in the past.

Usually the contract calls for VT on completed welds along with dimensional checks and occassionally to witness a pressure test and/or vacuum test of a completed weldment.
