Its good to see you finally found a good use for that Vantage. Just crank over to maxine, drop a lead over each side and kick that boat into a slow mosey. We use to use a telephone but I guess a welder works to. Huh? LOL

Was in the North Woods last week. If you look close at the dorsal you can see that sombody bigger tried to bite this fella in half.
I remember when I was a kid, a friend brought one of those to the house. He flopped it down on the kitchen table and it seemed to span the length of the table. I thought he had caught a a dinosaur fish.

I remember trying that when deep sea fishing....trust me that isn't a good idea out there on the big water either.
Nice catch Lawrence! I used to go walleye and pike fishing all the time back home. Little spot my Grandpa knew where I caught my first northern, didn't look like much for fish but had northern pike all over it. They'd catch then northerns and walleye in lake ontario and erie that were as long as a man is tall and bigger!!! Who's worried about sharks!!
I don't like the taste of fish but those flatties are the best tasting fish I have ever had.. They are a blast to catch too..!! They are a weird looking fish when you get to looking at them..
Those little Rat Reds are fun too..!! They give a heck of a fight for there size..!!

Where did you get those Cactus..?? I don't see too many Flounder getting caught in the middle of summer. I have gigged the heck out of them at night in the summer but haven't caught to many on a line when the water is hot..

I understand that secret bit..lol..!! I like to keep a few of those to myself as well..LOL..!!
Never fished Trinity Bay.. If I ever go I will type in Secret spot on the GPS and see what comes up..LOL..!!
