Dear All,
I'm trying to figure out what is the meaning of Electrode Spacing.

Also, under this category one is suppose to fill Longitudinal, Lateral and angle sizes.

Can anyone help understanding this?

I am to write a WPS for manual GTAW process (welding stainless steel tubes).

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Sharon.

Are you writing a welding procedure specification ?

If you are, to which code?

My insight of electrode spacing is distance between arcs,eg; Tandem SAW process with a DC current lead and AC cap to follow, with essential varibles on electrode angle to follow.

I concur with rshanks.

Electrode spacing is a variable when more than one electrode is used in a common weld pool or when they are in tandem.
