In the last 2 weeks I have received 5 calls from various repair shops in Texas asking for warranty parts on machine "Bills Welder Repair" rebuilt. And yet none of the customers names, code#'s or machines match any we have done. Guess I'm gonna start stamping the machines we actually do... I am amazed..

Yall are THE BILLS far as I know....never heard of any other. That is weird.

Glad you are back in action Kaye...I will get off my butt and send you those spec numbers this weekend. I think I need a idle control rebuilt or replaced if possible. Matter of fact I got em wrote down in the toolbox...pm on the way.

Do they make a kit to convert a hand cranked 55 short hood to have an electric start? I'm looking at one that only has a hand crank.

The code is 2364 & serial number is A299026. I haven't bought it just want to see if I can do it first.

Ok- that machine should have the ring gear flywheel, should have hole in backing plate of gen housing. If not it can be cut. You can go with a couple different starters. Then its just installing alternator and start button and toggle.

Believe I have a flywheel off a '51 shorthood with the ring gear on it.
