What: Lecture @ CSM - Silicate Island formation on Welds
When: Board Meeting 5pm – Dinner at 6pm $10 members $5 students. This meeting will be in the NEW Brown Hall, room 475 (Northwest corner of the building, top floor) The meeting will start at 6:30pm.

Dr. Steven Liu PhD, Director of the Center for Welding, Joining, and Coating Research at the Colorado School of Mines, will talk on silicate island (slag) formation in gas metal arc welding. He will present droplet levitation results and high speed video recording of the slag formation process. Meeting will be in the NEW Brown Hall, room 475 (Northwest corner of the building, top floor)
