The food Nazi's from our nanny state are making Mrs. Obama
very proud. I could see this happening in Chapel Hill or San
Francisco, liberal bastions, but Hoke Co. (my neighboring county)
is poor and rural.

These kind of things have been happening in incremental stages. When people take a stand on one of those increments, they are branded as extreme.
People have been arrested for selling unpasteurized milk, trading vegetables, etc etc all in the name of the food safety and modernization act.

Now we are witnessing those 'incremental' changes, happen at an accelerated rate.

Obama is organizing, enlisting and educating at least 2 million supporters as "Truth Teams" to, as you stated, "suppress the opposition" to secure four more years to >>>"fundamentally transform Amerika", <<<His words not mine. No mention of violence...yet. Remember His last election when He told his supporters to; get in their face and argue with them, sharpen your elbows, if they bring a knife you bring a gun are among a few of His aggression encouraging quotes from 2008.

If He gets re-elected it will be no holds barred as He will have nothing to lose and with the help of executive orders and Czars to pass what congress won't.

An overreaching government whether from the right or left is not good for us.
Obamacare and "birth control mandate" will be the new norm unless they are stopped and federal agents checking to see if mommy packed a lunch that meets the federal governments or Michelle's standards should be 100% unacceptable.

I could write a page on this very issue yet I will reside from it..... I will not let my goverment take my rights as an American wether it be legal in there eyes or not. That being said my kids still drink raw milk which I buy from my neighbor (sold as animial feed for legal reasons) I grow my own vegtables and cann them and sell them without the license (required by big brother). Make shine, sell chicken eggs, store money in a mason jar, kill every stray dog that steps foot on my property. (Dont have to worry about people my aussie can detour the worst of them).

Think back and Just remember... what ever happened to kids riding in the back of the truck on your way to the store? (and nobody thought twice about it) What ever happened to that, and family dinners at the dinning table. In my house all those occure. We make our own soap, butcher hogs, got a sheep who mowes my back yard in the privacy fence. And your probably thinking I am poorest backwoods redneck in Oklahoma. Yet all my vehicals are paid for ( The one my wife drives the kids to school everyday is a porsche)

Every thing I own is paid for in cash. What got me thinking about what it means to be free and a Born American Citizen was my grandfather who had grown up on a dirt floor on the reservation. Supported my stay at home grandmother and two kids. He was a Kirby vaccume sales man and all the while not only supporting the family he saved enough money to start a business and retired with good chunck of change. The man had some insight and so I picked his brain.

It got me thinking about tax increases over the last hundred years and other things you just take for "That is the way its always been" If you never known any different you accept your situation is "that is the way it is" IE this kid we are talking about, if she grew up with government (teacher) telling her what to eat. She will not think of anything of it and will have that same socialism manner. All I can say if you dont like what the government is doing. Dont support it. Its your money you choose how to spend it. Stand up and be free or sucomb and socialize. The choice is yours even if you dont know it yet.

Well, How about that!!!!!

First you can't spank your kid, now you can't feed you kid what you want him / her to eat! AND "Big Brother" will inspect your kid's lunch box and fill out a report on your bad parenting! What will be next? Arrests for bad parenting?

I can remember in the late 50's when it was announced that Sweden or Denmark had made it a crime to spank your child. The news commentator, Chet Huntley, commented about how ridiculous that law was, and how that would never catch on here! Yet here we are 50 years later, and "Big Brother" will now tell you how to feed your child!

Are Communist Chinese type birth control and school mandates far behind? After all vaccinations are mandatory. Sex Education (or at least Homosexual agenda appreciation protocol) in Kinder garden is mandatory. School yard bullying is now a crime that not only brands the child but also carries the crime over to the parent?!?!

Its all very disturbing......Talk radio was on this today.
People think its "for the good of children" but what is realy going on is training young kids to accept being told how to live life, and at the same time implying that "we know better than your parents".
If we dont stop this insanity we slide down a slippery slope.

That's kind of the way I think Mike. Some of the stuff my kids come home and tell me about school makes me stop and scratch my head. Although our school is a bit different due to the size of it, tiny, k-12 in one building average graduating class size of about 30 but I still get the sense sometimes they're trying to convert my children from independent thinkers into mindless robots to serve and not ask questions.
