Does anybody know the dimensions of Miniature (not subsize) CVN specimens per ASTM E2248?

ASME B31.3 shows a bunch of different subsize specimens, but it looks like that is referring to ASTM A370, which appears to show only one dimension of the test bar getting smaller, down to .098 across the notch.  It looks like you still need 10mm the other direction, and I am working on .145 wall pipe.  Wondering if the ASTM E2248 has little teeny specimens.

Many years ago, there was a scientist maned Steve Kane at Brookhaven National Laboratories on Long Island who did some work on subsize Charpy specimens for the gun tubes in ISABELLE.  Maybe you could find something with his name on it.

Hi

Will attach an extract from E2248 that may help. There are other options stated in the std, and additional requirements regarding the scale of the microstructural features etc.

Regards
Niekie
