This position will be responsible for a broad range of skills and knowledge
of design, welding processes, metallurgy, robotic welding application and
weld fixtures associated with manufacturing structural components.

Responsibilities:
* Project management of structural weldment
from design concept to production, production
floor support which requires excellent communication
and technical skills, and R&D of new welding
processes and technology.
* You will work with product engineering, tooling
and equipment suppliers, and the production
floor to understand design requirements and
translate the design concept into a production
process that meets factory goals for cost,
quality and schedule.
* Tasks include defining fixture and welding
machine requirements, writing process plans,
programming robots, manufacturing costing,
managing tooling builds and robot installations
and establishing quality plans.

Qualifications:
* BS degree in Weld Engineering, Weld Technology, or
Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 1 year of production welding experience
* Experience with weld robots.
* Production welding experience preferred
* Pro-E experience preferred
* Project Management Skills
* Understanding of Manufacturing Costing
* Understanding of Quality Planning and Control/ISO
9001
* Demonstration of problem solving skills
* Safety conscious
* Ability to be an effective member of a multi-disciplined,
cross-functional team.
