Does any one have a recommendation for a good book on cast iron repairs?  I do a broad variety of cast iron allready from exhuast manifolds and blocks, to transmission castings, and even a cast iron skillet sometimes, always on the look for better techniques and methods to be learned.

Also I would like to ask if anyone on here has ever sent in a sample of a casting to a lab for info, and if it was worth your time, and if it was benificial to the techniques and the welding processes, and filler that was used?
