I have 12 years welding exp,gtaw,gmaw,fcaw,etc.....almost all ferrous and non-ferrous matl.have done alot in my short time.i am now a cwi and a shop foreman.I have taught the workers most w/ low skills how to be good welders most are now x-ray pipe welders.I however can do w/out the day to day headache of being a foreman.I was told almost all steel labor unions have training centers that may hire skilled instructors.boces and college's seem to be hard to get into,any advice would be helpful thanks in advance.

Community colleges are a good place to get your feet wet as a part time side job. They always need instructors with experience. High schools are another avenue, but the hours they need you are when most of us are working, so it's hard to do that as a side job.
