Looking at a job at a waste treatment facility and will have to certify. Piping ranges from 2" to 12" and both sch 10 and 40. Tig root and out will work on the smaller stuff, but the 8" and 12" are sch 40.Some of it will be in the ditch, most is under cover. Not sure what to use for wps or if one procedure would even cover it all.  Thank all for any advice .

I was just being a wiseass.

You can write one WPS that defines each welding process to be used and the depth of the weld deposit for each process. You can just as easily write a couple of different WPSs, one for each process to be used.

So, my answer is, "yes."

Best regards - Al
