Can the electrode E9018-B3 can be used for the welding of the plate A336F22V steel. if not?
What is the AWS spec for the filler wire or the coated electrode for welding.

Regards,

Yes you can weld the F22V steels with the electrodes used for F22 materials. There may be some compatibility issues with creep properties though, depending on the service conditions. The vanadium addition in the F22V materials is intended to improve creep resistance. At one time the Cr-Mo-V steels were welded with non-vanadium electrodes, but I'm not sure if that is the current practice. It would be best to talk with the steel supplier to see what they recommend.
