In QB-407.1 b and c it talks about major flow being a determining factor on whether or not you would have to qualify a new procedure.  What is considered major flow.  How do you know if you joint is a major flowing joint or not.

Thanks,
Kix

The filler metal is distributed by capillary action. The direction of flow is in the direction the braze filler metal is "sucked" into the joint.

If the axis of a pipe and coupling assembly is vertical, the flow of the lower joint is vertical upward, while the flow in the upper joint is vertical downward.
