When qualifying CVN separately for an existing WPS as permitted in D1.1 clause 4.36.3 is the CVN qualification max. thickness the same as the WPS or 2T of CVN test plate. Example; original WPS was qualified with 1/4” base material, the CVN test plate was 3/16” to allow qualification down to 1/8” as specified in Table 4.6 (2).  Is the CVN qualification range 1/8” to 3/8” or  the same as the WPS, 1/8” to 1/2” ?
