Realize AWS has prequalified procedures available, but require one for Monel 400 plate and pipe. Client realizes an expenditure is required. Reason for request: Project begins in one week, and nothing in place. Welders need to be qualified.

I have just what you need. I qualified Monel 400 about two years ago. Passed its review by SupShips and two different shipyards. The requirements are more stringent than either AWS or ASME. Full traceability for filler metal and base metal. Passed VT, PT, and RT. Passed the guided bend tests and reduced section tensle tests. If AWS can sell SWPS, why not the rest of us? My PQR isn't locked up in a bank vault where they cannot be viewed.
