Wow  very nice work.  Some fabbing involved there to get your arch and make it all land where it should.  Does it use an expansion joint mount or is it ridged.  What grade of aluminum did you go with?   Looks like $$$$$ to me.  Very cool.

Absolutely beautiful!! And no wonder, they had a tradesman on the fabrication and a tradesman shooting in bolt location. Friggin' excellent job makeithot!!!

all 6061 they did not ask for expansion joints but I slotted the holes in the mounting plates to allow for some expansion and contraction the arc is easyer to put in then one would think the weight of the bridge deck pretty much does it for you, then build the sides to suit. Others build the sides first with the arc in them but I find that to be a real pain to square up after.

Really nice work, and looks like it will last forever! Where is this in B.C., and are you going to be doing more on the trail?

Beautiful.  Nice work Makeithot.  Who handled your design/engineering?  Did you have issues with AL annealing/HAZ/tensile?  Who was the owner?  C'mon, don't just tease us, inform us!
