Does anyone know where I could purchase a weld procedure for Nickel 200 to A36 carbon? These will be GTAW process. I know its a tough request but the test material I have in house is 2" SCH10 pipe?

Even if someone knows of a website it would be helpful.

Thanks

If you are working to ASME Section IX, what construction code are you using?

In general, you have to qualify the WPS. ASME only permits a few AWS SWPSs to be purchased for use by a contractor.

Check Section IX, Article V to learn what you can and can't do with regards to using SWPSs purchased from AWS.

The only dissimilar SWPS's i know of available for purchase from AWS are for P-1 to P-8.  Pretty sure nickel 200 is a P-41, so thats not gonna work.  Best just start qualifiying a procedure.
