I'm an adult student contemplating my options after vocational schooling. I recently applied to the Ironworkers Union Local No. 396. I have already gained some knowledge of this. I have only a few questions. Once in the Union, how difficult is it to get out if found I don't enjoy where I am? I hear there is traveling involved, is this true with the iron workers, and if so, is it much traveling? Again, I'm semi new to unions, so I apologize if I seem uneducated. Any information would be good information and I appreciate any input. Thank you for your time.
