My 200D is revving up while I'm welding, it might do it one per weld, once per hour or once per day or several times per rod, day,or hour there is no consistency to it.  What is causing this?  I have unplugged the arc force knob to eleminate that possibility.  Any thought are appreciated thanks in advance!

sounds like throttle solenoid issues.

kubota water seperator filter wix33389
perkins water seperator filter wix33263

Yes the throttle solenoid should be 300+ ohms

The diesel in My boat would over rev if it was starving for fuel [counter intuitive, I know].

This would happen if a fuel filter was starting to plug up as well as if actually running out of fuel.

It had something to due with air/vapor in the injector pump housing.

Mine has a distributer pump, a Roto design. This might not happen on an inline pump.
